What is Acucullophilia?

Acucullophilia is defined as the love of the circumcised penis, and is more specifically sexual arousal from circumcised penises. The term appears to be derived from the Latin terms "a" (without) and "cucullos" (hood), and the Greek term "philia" (love of). Acucullophilia is different from circumfetishism and circumsexuality, which eroticize the act of circumcision itself. Although acucullophilia is hardly limited to women, this site will primarily involve the female expression of admiration for the circumcised penis.

Why Acucullophilia?

This site was created by, and primarily for heterosexual circumcised males and the women who love them.. My interest/fetish in the topic arose a few years ago while watching YouTube videos of women discussing circumcision. I was surprised to discover that much of the language used was remarkably hateful; a trend that appears to have arisen as a result of the Intactivist movement, which strives to end the practice of circumcision (at least among infants). While I am not one to let words hurt me too severely, the usage of the word "intact" seemed surprisingly politically incorrect to me. While I can appreciate that it is a favorable alternative to "uncircumcised", which implies that circumcision should be the norm, "intact", a term more traditionally used to describe un-castrated dogs, seems equally if not more callous. It indicates that circumcised men are missing something, or are less male in some way. The more brutal description of "mutilated" and "butchered" penises was even more disturbing. At no point in my life have I ever thought of my prized possession as broken.

My searches continued from there to look for materials that regarded the circumcised man in a more positive light. This proved to be fairly futile in many regards. The vast majority of the websites that I found were circumfetishist, which were just as extreme as the intactivist materials I had found. Among these circumsexual materials, circumcision is typically employed as a sadomasochistic tool; not what I was looking for. Similarly, I found a plethora of materials, mostly videos, in which women humiliate men for being uncircumcised. This also wasn't what I was looking for. Eventually I began to find videos on amateur video sites in which the focus was a woman talking about her love or preference for circumcised men, and this has typically been the closest that I have come to finding true acucullophilia. On this site I have tried to compile the resources that I have discovered on these sites, as well as elsewhere on the internet.

I should provide the disclaimer that I am not inherently against intactivism, circumfetishism, etc., but am rather attempting to create a place where acucullophilia can exist with minimal involvement of these other concepts. Although the links found on this site include many circumcision-related groups and sites, I will try to keep the focus as close to the primary theme of women that are turned on by circumcised men.

A Message to the Critics

This site is certain to provoke some controversy. Circumcision has been a hot topic in the news for good reason. Compared with female genital mutilation, the removal of the male foreskin has been labelled as an infringement on the ethical rights of the infants who rarely have a choice in the procedure. Although conversations regarding scientific theories about the practice may arise on the site, the primary purpose is not to debate whether or not circumcision is good or bad. Ultimately, it is the belief of this author that the minute variations in male sexual function that result from circumcision are typically heavily exaggerated by the biases of those discussing the issue.

This site seeks to create a safe place for circumcised men to feel attractive and sexy. Here it is suggested that everybody has the right to feel positively about their body. This is not to denigrate intact men, who are just as deserving of this right. Men and women looking for foreskin-positive erotica should be sure to visit www.straightforeskin.tk, which provides a fantastic forum devoted to the topic. Given these thoughts, critical thinking and polite conversations will not be discouraged from the member discussion forum. Negative and disparaging language will not be tolerated, however, and may result in the loss of membership.
